Émile is a child like any other. Almost like any other. The difference? When Émile wants something, it's like this and not otherwise! Because Émile is not stubborn: he is very, very, very stubborn. And he is not afraid of anything to satisfy his whims. Being invisible? Having a bat? Having a cast? And why not? Funny, tender, stubborn, this rascal has everything going for him!

Ronan Badel was born in 1972 in Auray, in Morbihan. A graduate of the Decorative Arts of Strasbourg, he taught illustration for a while in an art school in Paris, then returned to Brittany, to Vannes, to devote himself to creation. He published his first album in 1998. Since Petit Sapiens in 2006, he divides his time between comics and children's albums with a beautiful and large catalog.
