Cruschiform, "Pollen"
Illustration taken from the book Colorama: unique series limited to 30 copies numbered and hand-signed by the artist, accompanied by its certificate of authenticity.
Cruschiform invites us on a fabulous journey to the land of colors: mauve, fawn, polar white, glacial milk, cotton candy, sakura blossom, sky blue, fleur de sel... Along the way, we discover the secrets of these enchanting shades. Where does indigo come from? What is mummy brown used for? What do a strawberry and an autumn leaf have in common? This wonderful color chart lets us see, learn and dream about the poetic world of colors thanks to 133 shades carefully chosen by the author. The artist gives us his personal vision of color, from the most classic to the most unexpected shades.
Cruschiform is the pen and brush name of a young illustrator trained at the Estienne school and then at the Decorative Arts of Paris. She first worked in the world of luxury as an artistic director before setting her sights on illustration and creating her own studio. At Gallimard Jeunesse Giboulées, she has already published several highly acclaimed books: Ré-créatures (2011), À toute vitesse ! (2013) and Trompe l'œil (2013). Her latest title Colorama is in the latest selection of Pépites de Montreuil.
