Trotro the donkey is a little gray donkey with a pretty white mane. Playful and enthusiastic, he always sees the bright side of things and never misses an opportunity to have fun. Trotro is not really an early riser, but that morning, he is already fully dressed and busy putting socks, t-shirts, underpants, mufflers... not to mention a small bottle of water and a packet of biscuits in his backpack. Where are you going so early in the morning? asks his mother. I'm going to go around the world answers Trotro. What a great idea! exclaims his mother, I would like to do the same! Would you like to take Zaza? Okay, then I'll take another packet of biscuits and then with Zaza it will be even more fun!
Bénédicte Guettier was born in Paris. As a child, she was already drawing. A little older, she obtained the higher diploma of Applied Arts, rue Olivier-de-Serres, then two years later, that of the École supérieure d'art graphique (ESAG). Bénédicte Guettier draws and signs with the tip of her brush. She has an incisive, lanky line that belongs only to her. When Bénédicte trots in Giboulées, it gives rise to a character that has been running through her head for a long time, Trotro, the mischievous and boisterous little donkey.
