House of Minalima
- Pop-up shop at the Galerie Gallimard
- From October 27 to March 9, 2024
- Monday to Saturday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
For the first time in France, the House of MinaLima pop-up store is opening its doors at the Galerie Gallimard.
You will be able to find the graphic universe created by MinaLima, the famous graphic designers who brought to life the universe imagined by JK Rowling, for the Harry Potter and Les Animaux Fantastiques films.
It’s also an opportunity to discover their new editions of Harry Potter and their sumptuous illustrated classics.
For Miraphora Mina, “the MinaLima Paris pop-up store at Galerie Gallimard is the twin sister of the London parent company and our branches in New York, Osaka, Tokyo and Seoul.” Immersive installations inspired by MinaLima’s Illustrated Classics, such as La Belle et la Bête or Les Aventures d’Alice au pays des merveilles will decorate the exhibition space: the Beast asking his Belle to marry him, the Mad Hatter having tea and the Cheshire Cat with his iconic smile perched in his tree.
Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts
On the occasion of the publication of the 3rd volume of the Harry Potter saga, a window display will evoke Harry Potter et le prisonnier d’Azkaban. Visitors will also discover the fascinating creative journey of Mira and Eduardo on their illustrations of the Monde des sorciers.
Fans will be able to purchase art prints, stationery, accessories and homewares featuring Miraphora and Eduardo's designs, created for the Harry Potter films.
Classics of literature
Immersive installations inspired by MinaLima's Illustrated Classics, such as La Belle et la Bête or Les Aventures d’Alice au pays des merveilles will decorate the pop-up store.
The French editions of MinaLima's Great Classics will also be in the spotlight on the occasion of the publication on October 25 of La Belle et la Bête, accompanied by a selection of art prints and stationery.
With full texts (available in French at the Galerie Gallimard), these luxury, richly illustrated works offer spectacular animations imagined by the artist duo.
“The covers are embossed and gilded with fine gold to give these classic stories a timeless charm. In addition to the brightly colored illustrations on almost every page, fold-outs and pop-ups offer an immersive experience for readers throughout the book, allowing them to follow the great heroes of children's literature up close.” Eduardo Lima
