The "Papillon noir" Collection

Papillon Noir is a collection imagined and directed by Benjamin Lacombe for Éditions Gallimard: a creative space for adapting great literary texts into exceptional graphic novels, erasing the boundaries between book-object, literature, illustrations and comics.

"Papillon Noir will be a fabulous laboratory for authors and illustrators from all over the world, using text, production and image as storytelling tools to create and invent new imaginations." Benjamin Lacombe

Inspired by the exceptional collection of Gallimard, the collection does not hesitate to revisit classics, to reinterpret them, sometimes even to transform them, and will also venture into literary creations that will not refuse any genre - whether it is a novel of anticipation, romance, thriller, or even horror.
The first three tracks reflect the spirit of Papillon Noir through their diversity and fascinating strangeness.
