Withdrawal and delivery conditions

The order is open on our website https://www.galeriegallimard.com/ (hereinafter "the Site") to customers (hereinafter "the Customers") residing in mainland France (including Corsica), in the Eurozone (Germany, Austria, Belgium, Spain, Finland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, Greece, Slovenia, Cyprus, Malta, Slovakia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Croatia), in the United Kingdom, the United States and Switzerland.

When ordering, the Customer may choose to collect their order from Galerie Gallimard (30-32 rue de l'Université, 75007 Paris). This method of collection is free of charge. The Customer will receive a message confirming the arrival of their order and specifying the opening hours of Galerie Gallimard.

If the Customer chooses home delivery, the packages are sent using the “Colissimo Domicile Signature” solution from La Poste.

Products purchased on the Site are delivered to the delivery address indicated during the ordering process, against the signature of the recipient or that of any person attached to his service, living with him or specially mandated or by any other method of provision agreed with La Poste. Delivery is made in mainland France (including Corsica), the Eurozone, the United Kingdom, the United States and Switzerland.

The digital signature of the Customer, of any person attached to his service, living with him, or of the specially authorized person, as well as its reproduction constitute proof of delivery of the package. The refusal of signature on the support presented by La Poste is equivalent to a refusal of the shipment.

For shipments delivered in mainland France, the Customer may, at the time of delivery, indicate, by means of a check box, an observation regarding the condition of the packaging.

In view of the risks inherent in transport, Editions Gallimard cannot be held responsible for any deterioration, theft or loss during the sending of the products ordered. In this case, it is important for the Customer to express his reservations to the carrier upon delivery or by sending a registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt within 3 days.

The delivery date depends on the stock status, the order shipment date and the delivery time induced by the delivery method and destination.

Delivery time with “Colissimo Domicile Signature” from La Poste:

The indicative deadlines presented during the validation of the order do not constitute commitments of deadline and are therefore not guaranteed. Exceeding such indicative deadlines does not give rise to any compensation whatever the cause and of whatever nature.

When the package cannot be delivered in accordance with the terms set out above, several presentations of the package may take place from the following day, at the initiative of the Post Office.

A notice of pending delivery indicating the contact details of the Post Office where the recipient can collect the item is left by La Poste in the Customer's mailbox. Any item thus pending delivery is delivered to the Customer or to his agent, duly authorized for this purpose, upon presentation of an identity document and against signature if it is a package delivered against signature.

For parcels delivered within the national territory, the period of waiting is 15 consecutive days from the day after the day of filing of the notice of waiting. This period does not include the day of last presentation at home. Beyond this period, the parcel is returned to the sender.

Editions Gallimard cannot be held responsible for the consequences due to a delay in delivery. Any order not shipped within 30 days of the order will be cancelled and refunded.
